India is also the fastest growing automobile industry with a consistent growth rate of 25-30% annually. Even Indian automobile exports have grown to about .6 billion in 2009.

    Not only that, due to India’s strong engineering base and expertise in the manufacturing of low-cost, fuel-efficient vehicles, several automobile companies like Hyundai Motors, Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen & Suzuki have set up manufacturing bases here. Indian Automobile market witnesses a large scale manufacturing of cars, bikes, vans, buses and tractors.

    Indian automobile industry is occupied by various major automobile manufacturers like Tata Motors, Ford Motors, Volkswagen, Maruti Udyog, Hero Honda, Bajaj Auto, Yamaha Motor etc. Indian manufacturers have taken giant strides in product innovation with the launch of low-cost cars like Tata Nano or through the acquisition of international brand like Jaguar.

    Tata Motors is also planning to launch an electric version of its low-cost car Nano in Europe and the U.S. Mahindra & Mahindra is preparing to introduce its pickup trucks and small SUV models in the U.S. Market. Bajaj is designing a low-cost car for the Renault Nissan which will market the product worldwide. Renault Nissan may also join domestic commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland in an their small car project.

    Covert advertising, also known as guerrilla advertising, is when a product or brand is embedded in entertainment and media. For example, in a film, the main character can use an item or other of a definite brand, as in the movie Minority Report, where Tom Cruise’s character John Anderton owns a phone with the Nokia logo clearly written in the top corner, or his watch engraved with the Bulgari logo. Another example of advertising in film is in I, Robot, where main character played by Will Smith mentions his Converse shoes several times, calling them “classics,” because the film is set far in the future. I, Robot and Spaceballs also showcase futuristic cars with the Audi and Mercedes-Benz logos clearly displayed on the front of the vehicles. Cadillac chose to advertise in the movie The Matrix Reloaded, which as a result contained many scenes in which Cadillac cars were used. Similarly, product placement for Omega Watches, Ford, VAIO, BMW and Aston Martin cars are featured in recent James Bond films, most notably Casino Royale. In “Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer”, the main transport vehiche shows a large Dodge logo on the front. Blade Runner includes some of the most obvious product placement; the whole film stops to show a Coca-Cola billboard.
    This type of advertising focuses upon using celebrity power, fame, money, popularity to gain recognition for their products and promote specific stores or products. Advertisers often advertise their products, for example, when celebrities share their favourite products or wear clothes by specific brands or designers. Celebrities are often involved in advertising campaigns such as television or print adverts to advertise specific or general prod

    Increasingly, other media are overtaking many of the “traditional” media such as television, radio and newspaper because of a shift toward consumer’s usage of the Internet for news and music as well as devices like digital video recorders (DVR’s) such as TiVo.

    The world today has revolutionized into an industrialized world which utilizes machines in various manufacturing industries. Undeniably, machines have made lives easier; not only in large industries, but even in small household applications. There are indeed a lot of benefits that these machines bring to men.

    In large industries, manufacturing has become faster and more efficient because of various machines used. The use of machines in various industries has encouraged individuals to design and produce machines that can be used for specific applications. Practically, there is no industrial process today that does not use machines in any of its’ process line.

    There are basically four major industrial sectors which make use of these machineries. The first of these sectors are the economic sectors, which consist of mining industries and agriculture. The second sector involves manufacturing, refining, and construction. The third sector involves medicine, pharmaceuticals, and the distribution of goods. Finally, the fourth sector is the research, design, and development sector. Each of these sectors in the industry employs the use of different machineries and equipment.

    The peak of the industrial revolution has opened new doors for new machines and equipment to be designed and developed. In fact, although some of the newer machineries seem to be equipped with better and advanced features, these machineries are still based from the original machines-modified, in order to perform other functions.

    The most common uses of machines in the industry are in materials handling and processing. Moreover, various machines are also designed for packaging and storing of finished products as well. In the United States, the manufacturing line for a car industry is basically composed of different machineries that have individual specializations. It is indeed a wonder how a bulk of metal at the start of the production line comes out as a finish product at the end of the line, with the use of a conveyor system.
